Before leaving here's a great video (yeah again!) about Jumping Rope
How Jumping Rope changes the Human Body*
Today's (Yesterday's) Question (Seems bizzare that noone answered)

Have you ever tried Rope Jumping?

Now jump in the comments and let your fingers workout.
And as always...
Stay Happy and Healthy.
Off day today, my back and biceps are feeling it, I always get DOMS after taking a break, so I expect a lot of soreness this week. I can't wait for push day, it's my favorite for sure.
reply
Do Aardvarks also get DOMS? ;)
Yeah, it was on the cards. You knew it but you didn't start slow. Maybe you love soreness?
reply
I used to hate it, but I've actually come to enjoy it. I don't get DOMS often because I'm pretty consistent with working out. Something about that deep exhaustion just feels good.
reply
So, you love soreness. Sometimes a slightly stiff neck is what I see most people enjoy. Consistency is the real key.
reply
Yea, this week is the only week I'll get sore until I take another break.
reply
What does DOMS mean?
reply
Delayed onset muscle soreness. It's when you wake up a day or two later really sore from a workout
reply
That’s y I have a Happy Meal inside my stomach. I never exercise!
reply
Day 499 of 100+ pushups per day; day 398 of 120+ pushups per day, sets breakdown: 4x36 normal/narrow; Total: 144
reply
PROOF of hard gym session (and I snuck into the fancy member area with all the good pull-up bars and rings etc):
reply
Hard Gym.. somehow.. maybe one day I hit there.
reply
No man does rope jumping. It's a girl's thing! 😂
I could only manage 10 squats, 10 knee pushups, and some normal stretching. That was too much!
reply
Feeling better. Still a little sore, but I went back to the gym and got chest done, just needed to observe my limits and respect them. We don't want to prolong the issue.
It was an alright session, sure I'm working with maybe 50% but some is better than none.
reply
That's nice! I've listened rib injuries only heal with rest and time. I think you have your physiotherapist advice to go and workout with 50%.
reply
All in a day’s work.
But I’m feeling kinda bad. I had the afternoon off, so I had planned to run today. Instead, I watched Netflix and took a nap haha
reply
15,590 steps in work! Do you have a job of a walker? I thought you were a teacher. Haha.
Nap is ok but Netflix I don't know.
reply
SOMEHOW!
Nobody knows why my lil late-night musing hit a nerve with the Stackers!

Alas, today it is extra YOGA SESSION in the next town. Finally I get to practice instead of always leading/thinking through the structure and cues
reply
Yes, that was a topic of general interest but you're right about 'Somehows' on SN. This club Post was and still should be among the top posts for today but it's somehow not even in the top 20
reply
Challenge completed! I'm about 14k the richer for it.
I started another challenge today: same terms, but lower stakes. So, my daily accomplishment will continue being 7.5k steps and fasting.
On the fasting front, I did 16 hours dry fasting and still haven't eaten. I am hungry, though, so I probably will eat soon.
reply
Many congratulations! 👏👏 I think putting in a few sats really brings in motivation. I'd definitely join you once they launch on Android.
How do they give the bonus? Do some people lose sats?
All the best for your new challenge.
reply
It's a really simple idea: all the participants buy in to the challenge and then that money is divided up amongst those who completed it.
They also have an extra airdropped bonus on most of them that only a few people get at random.
reply
Great! Simplicity works the best in such competitions. Workit can be very successful when they go Android.
BTW, did you also get less sats in revenue today? I've calculated it manually #895470 because I thought that yesterday's revenue should be more than the day before it.
Could you please have a look at that?
reply
I am gaining more muscle mass with my bike trainings, and am getting a freat feling aroung my back as biking on hills use the muscles of abdomen and lower back a lot. I also have my office in a tall building and I go up and down 12 floors everyday, that's also a great exercise.
reply
More muscle mass into the thighs, right? Or it helps gain other parts as well?
reply
It helps also in my upper body, as long as I don't bike too long distances. The thing is I was very very skinny before when I was only biking on flat terrain in the place I was living. Then it makes me think if skinny people have the body for mountains as we need much more uphills stimulus than other body types.
reply
I get it. When you're hiking, it's your whole body that is required to push you up and as a result we gain strength everywhere. Thanks.
