News Of The Week

Welcome to Books & Articles Weekly. I apologize for the delay in releasing this week’s issue. I had to deal with unanticipated personal issues. It seems like old times. @denlillaapan almost ran the table, winning four of the top five posts. Only @co574 prevented endless bragging. At least I hope so.
Thanks to everyone who contributed.
Reminder: For the time being I will zap the top post half the rewards I receive before the next week’s issue, rather than split zaps into cowboy credits.
Happy reading!
. As always, please reply with suggestions and opinions on how to make this territory better.

Yeah. I have had a rough two days. It's suck getting old and watching your old buddies get sick and approach the end. We're all going there on different timelines.

I’m sorry to hear this. I have gone through life getting invites to friends first marriages, then their second marriages and more recently their funerals.
It’s a contradiction to Bitcoin but delayed gratification and proof-of-work in some things BUT you also need to live your life… there may be no tomorrow. And I hate being reminded of that by the loss of friends and their dreams left unfulfilled.
Stay strong.

Yes. My friends employ the Irish wake model to drown sorrows, regardless of the ethnicity of the departed.

There is something to be said for that. In my experience it tends to be a toast to the departed, a few reminiscences and a catch up with those that remain… the Irish-lite method.
