i know alby was able to make it work in terms of connecting my lnd node on start9 via tor for receiving via ln address and sending via their wallet. maybe check in with them π€
so if you have your own wallet attached in the settings for send and receive, stacker news will pretty much work the same ( pending connectivity issues). if you dont, then you will need to pay to post using lightning in some fashion or use an earned fee credit to post and wont have a custodial wallet you can withdraw from. ya? if yes, will tor nodes be supported for send/receive?
start9 not so much for the btc but for the amazing world of self hosting you are exposed to in an apoproachable way along with really helpful community π€ umbrel i found harder to use and get help with.
just start with phoenix and use it til you run into limitations, or want to upgrade to a more advanced 'node in the phone' setup such as zeus or blixt wallet. especially if all were talking about is a pocket change amount. If you aren't going to be sending zaps or small amts and rather are going to be making larger buys (think like $10 +) over lightning, aqua is a decent simple option (tradeoffs abound).
on chain mixing is pretty silly once you figure out practical ways to obfuscate your ownership with robosats/liquid/lightning.
and im considering a threat level of a normal person not Jason Bourne
getting paid to hold a security will be a wild turn of events. must be a valuable underlying asset i guess π
way more π i own a business in america in a highly regulated industry, so im breaking about 1000 laws just by existing
lightning is dead meanwhile people that know how it works and how to use it will trade sats between each other into eternity for free
