Thank you
In my opinion, not having time is the lamest excuse to not do something. If you really wanted to do something, you make time for it. Just own up to the fact that it's not high enough on your priority list for you to do it instead of something else. If one day you deem it important enough, you will do it. Whatever "it" may be.
Thank you!
Vancouver Marathon is also one of the more beautiful ones. I think over 20km of shoreline or something like that. Almost half of the route with stunning views.
I think the box steps helped a lot in terms of recovery. Maybe the more consistent / regular training helped too. I remember previous years I was sore for at least a week. This year, I was only truly sore on race day and the next day (Monday). Still some slight soreness on Tuesday, but I was already back running Tuesday night.
No, I did not throw up after the race. I've never thrown up after long runs.
I usually train with 160ish heart rate. I think I was going harder than usual because I wanted to complete the run in under 4 hours, which had been my goal throughout training. Which is probably why I couldn't sustain the pacing past 33km and became much slower during the final 9 or so kilometers.

Aw man, thank you for the support and your sats! And most importantly, thank you and your co-founders for creating this territory so I can post about my weak ass marathon training log and my failed sub 4hr marathon attempt haha.

If you factor in last game's double zeroes, it's actually so so, haha. But yes, HUGE game for Buddy.
Joining the party late. I was taking a post race nap during the Pacers Cavs game, and am at my son's ringette practice now. So will be missing out on all the action. Surprised to see Pacers take game 1 on the Cavs home court.
Judging by only looking at the scores, looks like the dubs trying to pull away. Also, 0 points for Curry, wtf? Are Rockets tripling team him?
Thanks! That's the goal.
You watching the Warriors Rockets game? I'm at my son's ringette practice, so can't watch the game.
Haha, my wife bought a dozen from the park from a kid fund raising to go play football (soccer) in Europe. We live pretty far away from the only Krispy Kreme store in Greater Vancouver, so we don't head over there often. Can go get an extra large, extra fat smoothie from McDonald's though, haha.
The younger generation probably shout Curry! now when they go for a shot. I still shout Kobe though.
