Probably not from pure talent wise. Oladipo is much more athletic and better defensively, while both probably gave similar offensive numbers. It's just that CJ had such a better career and Oladipo was hurt so much that it's hard for me to pick him over CJ while knowing how their careers played out.
I think I like to choose according to career instead of ceiling / peak. If I'm a GM drafting a player, I would take someone who can give me multiple seasons with consistent performance over someone who just peak for a season then goes on being hurt the rest of their career.
Maybe we've already seen his ceiling, which isn't bad at all. Averaging 20 or more points 11 seasons in a row is not amazing, but it isn't bad at all. Who else amongst that draft class, besides Giannis, has an offensive stat like that?
Maybe because I never really liked Rudy that much, so that's why I put him behind CJ. A lot of subjectivity involved in these picks anyways. But I see your point and understand why you would put Rudy at second.
- Giannis
- McCollum
- Gobert
You guys are crazy for picking an always hurt, hardly played Oladipo while ignoring CJ, who averaged at least 20 points for every season, except his first season, he had been in the league. Oh, and CJ was on the court much more.
I think any century break is very cool to watch. Still surprised that no woman has ever got 147 yet. The GOAT O'Sullivan alone has 17, with 2 in the same match. I guess another male dominated sport.
Day off today, so I got to run under the sun. Weather had cool down quite a bit, so it was a very comfortable run. Johnny had been going on a rampage, totaling 22.5 miles in 3 days. Need to put in an extra long run this Sunday morning to keep that lead...
Today:
- 70 push ups
- 15km run
- 80 second dead hang
- cold shower
- 22,998 steps so far. It's almost 8pm and I still have to go buy beer with my wife later. I'll probably add a couple or so thousand steps to the total before the day ends.
Just went to check out Pathfinder on Steam. Looks like a fun game. It was on sale, so I bought it. Hopefully I'll be able to find time to play it soon, haha.

Very cool. Did you climb outdoors or in gyms or both?
You mean Ori and the Blind Forest. Since they're both Metroidvania games, it's normal for them to feel similar on first look. But I think Silksong looks quite a bit more challenging than Ori.
I've been playing Donkey Kong Banaza with my sons on the Switch 2. I'm close to finishing the main story of the game and will probably move onto Silksong after I'm done with the main quest of Donkey Kong.
I'm playing Stellar Blade on my PC, that is the one I'm trying to finish now. But I would hop back on Black Myth Wukong, Expedition 33, or Monster Hunter Wilds every now and then whenever I feel like it.

Wish you a speedy recovery from the gout.
Good to see that you added dead hang to your daily routine. I started doing those again recently as well, but skipped out today. Been wanting to post my numbers for the past 2 days, but was too sleepy both nights and just went straight to sleep instead.
Today:
- 50 push ups
- 10km run. Felt good and pushed the pace today. Finished in 49:31, one of my few sub 50min 10ks.
- cold shower
- 19585 steps
Cool. I wonder who they cast for the characters. Maybe Charlie Cox can continue to play Gustave. I think I would cast Chloe Bennett as Lune.
Indeed. As you may or may not have noticed, I'm quite into gaming and would love to have gaming discussions about any game anywhere.
Agree with everything you said.
Unreal Engine 5 is really turning into a cheat code for smaller developers. Technology advancements are doing wonders and allowing smaller passionate teams to create high quality "indie" games that rival the AAA standard.
I feel they can make a movie out of how this game got made. With all the quitting Ubisoft and hiring ex colleagues to make a game that they want to play themselves. Finding their music composer/director from SoundCloud and their lead writer on Reddit. To how no one was interested in funding / publishing their game, to finally securing funding and convincing Kepler to publish it.
I highly recommend Expedition 33. If you will only play 1 game from 2025 or if you only have time for 1 game from 2025, let that game be Expedition 33.
The parry and dodge mechanics they added to the game makes it much more engaging than traditional JRPG.
maybe time to become professional twitch streamer?
Haha, go for it! Asmongold just took time off to take care of his dad. Big opening right there for you to fill.
