If you go by metrics, SN makes about 25K and if very active even 30K items/month So from June, we have 6 months left roughly, which makes at most 180K items. Assuming the latest item is 1.01M, adding 180K makes a meagre 1.2M (roughly)

I'm trying to set up my send wallet. In the wallet section it is saving my Blink API, and it also is giving me the green send arrow in the blink box, but I don't have my gun indicating something is wrong. I do show this error in the logs:

When you zap and you have a wallet, we will always try sats first. If your wallet doesn't work, then we will try CCs.

If you don't want to zap sats, disable your wallet.

Reading the FAQ about the wallets might also help if you haven't already.

If so, I think your API key is wrong.

Did you select the READ and WRITE scope when generating the one for sending?

Sending and receiving must be two different API keys.

I think ~stacker_sports posts are default to be lower in the top posts. You can see this happening to most of the posts in the territory. Contrary to SS Posts published in territories like ~Ask_SN end up much above even with less zaps or engagement. I feel the ranking of posts, at least under the top posts, should be ranked impartially.

Yeah, I don't have a full handle on it. I'm confident there's nothing in the code that systematically suppressed ~Stacker_Sports, but something about who zaps (and perhaps who downzaps) is hurting us.

As @k00b often says, our best path forward is just to make a better product, whatever the explanation, so that's our focus.

However you can see that you (only you) zap the same amount to a post in ~Stacker_sports and zap a post in ~Ask_SN or even in ~econ, you'll see anomalies in the rankings. Maybe you are right about downzapping. And it may be that someone always readily downzaps posts from SS.

That disrupts the competition right? So many people are waiting to be featured on the top filter, you would definitely need bias to cut out the posts which lose edge

I've been going to all the Bitcoin meetups in my area after getting inspired again and my experience last night was a little intersting going to a new meeting. There were 2 speakers and while both said BTC was probably the safest bet they were shilling alt coins saying that if you wanted to get some crazy gains you gotta take risk. They had bought FART as well as TRUMP coin and were pushing something called hbar. At one point someone said that McDonalds was gonna start hashing because hash power is all that is gonna matter to stock investors and we will hit 1 million in less than 2 years. I think there was like 15 people there and only time the speaker got some push back was when he said AI coins are the real future. I guess just watch out where your getting your information from. I was live reacting in our friend signal chat it was pretty painful at times
