I'm still a little sore, but I'll lift tonight regardless. I'll post sets and reps tomorrow morning on the daily discussion.
reply
That's right! Aardvarks keep digging.
reply
The next time you begin, start with light exercises. The soreness has kept you away for 3 days now.

Day 501 of 100+ pushups per day; day 400 of 120+ pushups per day, sets breakdown: 4x36 normal/narrow; Total: 144

Workit cancelled their current challenges, so I took a lazybones rest day. Only 5k steps.
I did dry fast for 16 hours and am still going sans food.
Good job on your screentime reduction.
reply
You're still doing a nice job by maintaining the fast time. 5k steps aren't too less. TBH, you deserve a Lazybones.
Yupp, I'm trying hard to keep it below it.

I forgot the mind emptying question: walk outside or hot bath/shower.
reply
I'm sure walking outside doesn't mean walking on a busy street. Walking in the Nature where I can even hear my breath or steps does it for me.
Bath or shower doesn't help me but taking bath in the hot water natural spring does.
reply
If I had the option, I would certainly prefer a hot spring. I'm dreaming of moving into the mountains and having a bitcoin heated hot tub on the porch.
reply
Don't you have a river near you?
Here The Ganges create a lot of hot springs in the rainy season which we use in the winters. Also the water in the river is quite warm in the mornings in winter.
Though I also go to Mountains three four times a year. A very good place where we have 24 hours hot water because of sulfur.

How do you empty your mind?
i m not sur the question is correct, as you need to be conscious of it
we all meditate through work, sport, art and etc... but if we are not conscious...
reply
Did you watch the video?
By emptying, it means to to clear your mind from unwanted thoughts.
reply
I understood your words in a way but regarding my understanding i wanted to share my view :)
Yes, i know the video, ;) : you can meditate but if you are not conscious with attention it won t have the full potential ;)
"unwanted thoughts": There are yours, to go beyond , you need to watch them (as the flow of water) and accept them... Be conscious and aware and with the time they will disapear..
I'm not firm on my diet and I hope to lose 1 more kilo this week. The temptations are messing with me a little, but I didn't succumb.

My bolt score (#866881) was tanking lately because I got so busy in my professional life and neglected my breathing practice.
I am now setting myself the goal of a 35 seconds score minimum, and developed a new training plan that, to my surprise, produced instant results! I clocked 40 seconds again for the first time this year and was able to change the trend of the weekly and monthly curves. 💪
Here's a screenshot of my practice plan. I call it the LSD breath: Long, Slow, Diaphragmic breathing (always through the nose)
  • 10 seconds inhale / 5 seconds hold / 15 sec exhale / 5 sec hold
  • 9 / 5 / 16 /6
  • 8/5/17/7
  • 7/5/18/8
  • 6/5/19/9 (*)
  • 5/5/20/10 (*)
(*) New round added today. I will practice this updated set in a few minutes after I've digested my dinner.
I found and bought this interval timer app on Google play for 5 bucks.
