SN Book Reviews: Categorized (Redux) \ stacker news ~BooksAndArticles

I offered to help @siggy47 categorize all book reviews according to the book's genre and whether or not the book is directly Bitcoin related. In #1210270 I posted a partial listing, but it turns out that that one missed a lot of the reviews. I went back and found all previous book review directories and now am producing a full listing here.

These categorizations are AI generated from a list of hand-selected categories. The AI classification is not perfect, especially because they cannot read images by default. This matters because sometimes critical information about the book is in its book cover (especially if it's a children's book), which are pasted in the reviews, but the AIs can't see. Getting them to see the images takes some extra coding (time I don't have), and costs more money (which I also don't have).

Tagging a book as bitcoin-related is also pretty imperfect. Sometimes the reviews mention Bitcoin (because SN is a bitcoin-oriented platform) even though the book itself has nothing to do with Bitcoin. This sometimes confuses the AI.

Thus, let me know if you see any major mistakes in categorization, and I will add manual corrections. These corrections probably won't get reflected in this post, because of time limits to when posts can be edited, but will be implemented in future listings.

@siggy47 I'm happy to continue doing this every time you post a new book review directory. I have the code all set up so it should be able to update with new listings with a single button click.

I think siggy only maintains a book review directory for reviews posted in ~BooksAndArticles, which is actually one of the big value-adds of posting there.

I also don't intend to collect reviews outside of siggy's directories. Finding all book reviews on SN is a much larger task than labeling reviews that have already been identified (the latter involves working with 100s of items, the former requires combing through million+ items)

That being said, these look like great reviews of great books, so I'll manually add them to the list for the next update.

Thanks very much! I usually need to do it every few months to save space. Now that you have consolidated it into one post, I can probably wait a bit longer.
